Katie is a fourth generation Idaho native who grew up in Pocatello. She attended undergraduate school at Utah State University where she received a degree in Biology. After college she worked as a children’s behavioral therapist until starting her medical training. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Idaho State University in 2001. Soon after graduation she moved to the Treasure Valley. Her career has focused on family medicine, but she has also had the opportunity to work in various specialties such as Neurology, Urgent Care, and Mental Health. In recent years Katie has developed an interest in bio-identical hormone therapy. The aspect of patient care that she enjoys the most is getting to know her patients and their families while helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.

She obtained her Master’s degree from Northwest Nazarene University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022. She joins our practice focusing on family care and preventative medicine. She is passionate about caring for the residents of the Treasure Valley and helping them access comprehensive and affordable healthcare.

Erin Love McDermott, PA-C, is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who enjoys creating meaningful relationships with patients. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine’s Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies program. Erin approaches every patient with a deep sense of caring and responsibility. She brings her candor, practical problem-solving, and empathy into the exam room.
Erin was raised in Springfield, Missouri, where she graduated from Drury University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. Born in Utah, I spent the first few years of my life in Idaho Falls before moving to Plano, TX where I was raised. After graduating high school, I attended BYU Idaho for a year. I chose a school in Idaho because my whole family was from Idaho. My grandparents both lived and worked on farms in Idaho Falls and Malta, Idaho. I spent many summers helping them work on these farms, moving sprinkler pipe, picking wild oats and helping with the harvest.
I met my lovely wife in 2001, we got married that year and began our journey together – raising our 4 beautiful children. We have found parenting to be one of the most rewarding and meaningful endeavors in life. Our kids continue to surprise us and make us so very proud every day!!!
From there, I attended school for my undergraduate at California State University, Chico where I Majored in Nursing, and then Minored in Exercise Science. In 2009, during my time at school, I began my career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local physical rehab facility. I spent the next 10 years as a Registered Nurse in critical care areas – the majority as a Trauma Nurse in the Emergency Department.
In 2018, I enrolled at California State University, Sonoma where I earned my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Since then, I have spent time in Family Medicine where I have treated a large range of chronic diseases daily. I have also spent time working in an Urgent Care setting where I mainly treated acute illnesses and injuries, performed sports, DOT, and pre-employment physicals.

She fulfilled her goal to earn a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and FNP-c with honors from South University in 2018. J’Lene brings over 30 years of nursing experience focused on direct patient care for high-risk women, infants, and pediatric (patients). J’Lene is CPR, ACLS PALS and NRP certified. She passionately advocates for individuals across the lifespan and values family centered care. She compassionately guides patients with their individualized needs to achieve personal health goals. Her motto is to “meet the patient where they are at” and help them along their path to wellness. J’Lene enjoys the patient centered care approach at Blair Family Medicine, a team of highly qualified healthcare providers who promote wellness for patients, their families and the community. Cathy Arvidson is new to the practice and brings over 25 years as a nurse practitioner, all in the Idaho Falls area. She has been an RN for over 40 years. In addition, she is an associate professor at Idaho State University, School of Nursing, teaching in the Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Cathy graduated from Vanderbilt University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, University of Florida with her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist, Texas Woman’s University with a PhD in Nursing, and University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with her post-doctoral certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her philosophy of care is treating each patient as an individual and working together to achieve each patient’s highest level of wellness with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion and a focus on high-quality, cost-effective care.
She grew up in Florida and moved to Idaho Falls from Texas in 1992. She is married and has 2 grown children, one of which has followed her into nursing. She loves the outdoors which includes hiking with her rescue dog and skiing in winter.

Sunny Raichart was born in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Granbury, Texas when she was just a young girl. After high school, she moved to Idaho Falls. From a very young age, she has wanted to be a nurse. Sunny started working in the nursing field over 25 years ago, working her way up from an LPN in a doctor’s office, to an RN in the surgical environment, and finally as a Nurse Practitioner taking care of her own patients with Blair Family Medicine. Sunny joined the practice in January 2021. When Sunny is not working in the office, she enjoys spending time outside with her husband and family. She likes to ice fish in the winter and lake fish in the summer. She also enjoys camping, archery and spending time with her grandson, and working in her yard.
Jodie Stookey, FNP-C
Jodie Stookey is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board-certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated in 2011 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Since that time, she has also obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, graduated with honors, and gained experience in the Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Primary Care, and Urgent Care settings. She can provide the whole family with compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
When she isn’t in the office getting to know her patients, Jodie enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and a Goldendoodle named Snickers. They spend their free time exploring Idaho, camping, hiking, and skiing.

Dr. Silakoski (Jenna Silakoski, DO, ABFM) attended both undergraduate and medical school in Ohio where she went to Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Graduating in 2012 she dedicated herself to serving our nation as she immediately took an oath as an officer in the United States Army. Serving as a Soldier and a physician, she completed her residency at the Carl R Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, TX and became a Board-Certified Family Physician in 2015. Since then, she has attained the rank of Major and served in many roles including Medical Director of an outpatient clinic and Officer in Charge for the Family Medicine Residency Clinic at Fort Hood as well as providing care for Soldiers and their families across the spectrum “from cradle to grave.”
As early as medical school, Dr. Silakoski saw firsthand many of the challenges that existed with traditional healthcare both in the civilian world as well as the military. Difficulties with access to care and the lack of time able to be spent with patients left her searching for a better way. As Direct Primary Care surfaced as an answer to physician and patient’s alike calling for a way to bring relationship back to medicine without the complications of insurance, Jenna seized the opportunity to bring care directly to her patients.

Matt Dinsmore, ARNP is a local native of the Spokane area who has grown up in Nine Mile Falls, Washington and graduated from Lakeside High School in 2005. His interest in sciences began as early as kindergarten as he desired to “be a scientist when I grow up” and received a microscope for his 6th birthday. His interests eventually developed into human sciences and he received his Bachelors in Nursing Science through Washington State University (WSU) in 2009. After spending six years in the Emergency Room at Providence Holy Family (as an ER Tech and ER Nurse) he returned to WSU to get his advanced degree in nursing and graduated in 2012 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. It’s from his nursing background that he derives his ideology of care to be patient advocacy.
Matt’s broad experience includes evaluating injured veterans through the Compensation and Pension Department at the Mann-Grandstaff Veterans Administration, treating peripheral neuropathy with a venture capitalist group in Spokane Valley, and most recently spent 4 1/2 years providing rural primary care services to his home town of Nine Mile Falls through a local Federally Qualified Community Health Center.
Matt enjoys being involved at his local church, spending time with his family (wife and four children), geocaching, beekeeping, and occasionally brewing a cider that is always too dry. Along with providing on call coverage for Direct Primary Care, Matt is also the CEO and Owner.

His medical education began over 30-years ago after completing a Paramedic program, and working in EMS, hospital, and outpatient clinic care settings.
Since graduating from UW-MEDEX, he spent 16-years working in orthopedic medicine, which included specialization in hand/upper extremity and also in general orthopedics.
He has now found a home back in Yakima WA where he raised his family and is currently enjoying country living and working with Dr. Edgerly who helped start his journey 30-years ago.
